My speaker isn't working, how can I troubleshoot it?
If the issue is Bluetooth related, please turn off the WIFI on your device that you are trying to use with the speaker and make sure that there are not any other devices connected to the speaker.
Now, please try the following:
1. Try to use a different cable (optical, RCA, auxiliary, power cable) to confirm that the issue is not with the cable you are using to connect to the speaker.
2. Try to plug the power cable into a different power outlet to confirm that the power source is not the issue.
3. To be certain that other devices aren't causing an interference, forget all other Bluetooth devices in your list of available devices in your Bluetooth settings.
4. If you are attempting to connect to the speaker via Bluetooth, ensure that your device is running the most recent software and all updates are complete.
5. Please un-pair (forget or delete) the device from your Bluetooth devices list, turn both of the devices off and then turn them back on. If you attempt to repair them now, do you continue to experience the issue?
6. Is the Bluetooth input selected on the speaker?
7. Is the speaker currently connected to a different device?

My Marshall Speaker is connected to my iPhone, but the volume is really low.
It is possible that the low volume issue is a result of the max-volume cap, please follow these steps to try and remove the cap:
Remove the max-volume cap
(1) Open Settings (2) Scroll down and tap on Music (3) Check the label “Volume Limit” .. it should be OFF. If not, tap on it it. (4) Swipe the slider to the right so that the volume is full. When you set the slider completely to the right, it means there’s no volume limit set. (5) Go back (tap on the < arrow from top) and check if the label for Volume Limit is OFF. (6) Quit and re-open the music app to see if the volume problem is gone.

I am connected to the speaker via Bluetooth, but the volume is really low even if all the volumes are maxed out. Why?
To accurately evaluate the Bluetooth, please turn off the WIFI on your device that you are trying to use with the speaker and make sure that there are not any other devices connected to the speaker. Now, please try the following:
(1) Open the Bluetooth menu in the device that you are broadcasting the music from.
(2) Disconnect (Forget) all the paired devices including the speaker.
(3) Turn off both the music device and the speaker and then turn them back on.
(4) Pair the music device to the speaker and voila - turn it up loud! You should be rocking out to your tunes again.
If you have a Mac computer, please try the following steps:
1. Make sure OS X (or your computer's software) is updated to the latest version
2. Type in “Audio Midi Setup” in Spotlight and increase the volume of the bluetooth device
3. It may be necessary to debug the Bluetooth in the Mac. To do this: Hold down the Shift and Option buttons while clicking on the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar. This will bring up a Debug choice on the drop-down menu.
4. Select "reset the Bluetooth Module"

Powersaver Standby Mode: The Speaker will go to power saving standby mode after 20 minutes of not receiving a sound signal. If you have chosen to use the power saver standby mode, the Speaker will not wake up automatically when you begin playing music and will not show up as an available device in your Bluetooth list after it has gone into this low-power state. To activate the Speaker and play music from any source after the unit has gone to standby mode, press the wake button once. This will bring the Speaker back to life and ready to play again.
Standard Standby mode: The Speaker will go into standby mode after 20 minutes of not receiving a sound signal. If you have chosen to use the Standard Standby Mode, the Speaker will automatically 'wake up' when the last source is played. For Example, if a source is connected with a cable begins to play, the speaker wakes up automatically when that source is selected. If a Bluetooth device was used as the last source, simply touching the latest Bluetooth device to have been used will wake the Speaker up automatically. If you want to play another Bluetooth device instead of the last one used, press the wake button once to play music again.
This is often the reason a speaker "shuts off on its own and has to be restarted" in order to play again. If you are experiencing this issue, be sure to check with Power saving mode the speaker is in.

Bass Distortion
To troubleshoot bass distortion:
Please perform the following test on your speaker, making sure that you music device is connected to your speaker with the cable, not bluetooth.
Set all of the knobs in the control panel on the speaker to 7 and make sure that the sound on your device is also set to about 7.
